Diversion
IDIADA Automotive Technology UK has two full scale inertia dynamometers dedicated to passenger vehicle testing. Each dyno has mechanical inertia generation through flywheel combinations. Each machine is individually computer controlled using the latest Microface controller software.
Both machines have the capability of logging up to 16 channels which can be used for logging force, speed, torque, pressure, displacement and temperature.

Our aim is to continually improve and update our dynamometer technology to ensure the full range of passenger vehicles can be tested on its machines, whether sports bike, hot hatch or luxury car we can cover them all.

Fixtures for any of our inertia dyno's use OE vehicle component where possible. The use of actual vehicle parts ensure correct fitments and alignment. Fixtures are engineered in-house where possible, where manufacturing fixtures in-house is not possible we will design and sub-contract manufacture to one of our Approved engineering suppliers.
