IDIADA Automotive Technology UK has invested and will continue to invest
in improvements to its dynamometers to enable comprehensive motorsport testing.
Improvements include;
- Environmental control, giving the ability to control ambient temperature and humidity
- High speed direct cooling allowing air flow to be closely replicated to that of which the brake would see in real world conditions.
- Installation (in partnership with Microface) of high speed actuation using Klovenbach valve and updated Microface control system.
The updates to our control system allow brake pressure from testing or race data to be used to control brake actuation on dyno.
With the updates that have made it is now possible to accurately match the line pressures applied on dyno to the pressures applied in race conditions.
IDIADA Automotive Technology UK can work with its customers to develop a bespoke procedure for testing and validation of brake component design and performance.
